Glass ceiling may be defined as an invisible barrier which exists in a demographic society which prevents them from rising above their hierarchy.It restricts the members from crossing the obstacle of barrier.It was first used by a feminists in reference to barrier of career oriented women achieving high targets.This practise is common among people belonging to minority sector.Men and women belonging to minority sectors are astrained from their rightful priviliges due to glass ceiling.

The United States Federal Glass Ceiling Commision describes glass ceiling as unseen barriers that restrains minorities and women to rise to the upper level.Gender pay gap is one of its issue.Glass ceiling can be dismantled by following ways:

By identifying that glass ceiling exists is the foremost step of dismantling it.

If you are aware that it exists,then try to bring it to the of the employers .Educate people,regular counselling can be carried out.

The employees facing this situation must be morally boosted by encouraging them to focus on their talents and trying to solve the problems faced by them by giving moral support and creating awareness among top level of organisation about the problems faced by them.
