Do you think that there is an occupation that will never get the glass ceiling broken? One of the areas that comes to mind is an NFL Quarterback. Will there always be a gender separation here? Should there be for physical reasons? Think about this because as people change genders they will affect jobs.
The main reason behind not having men in NFL is definitely the
overall characteristics required to be able to perform in the
field. Anything under 6 feet criteria is considered as small. As
this game is consisting of extreme power and impacts, front row of
the players gets huge impact in the same game. There are many
female athletes available who are above 6 feet but getting into a
99.9% men dominated game requires more than few players.
As of now there are no female players involved in nFL, becoming
first female to play NFL would be very tough as she would have to
go through many possibilities and have to arrange their own female
team to be implemented into the system. Mostly females are given
the position of kicker or punter because of their body size and the
level of impact we can have. Definitely this is a male oriented
industry with every single player in the industry is a male. This
type of structure makes it really hard for any female to enter the
game and to dominate it.
