Being aware of one’s own style of being motivated makes the considerations clearer, especially with the given internal and external factors. We can say that while there are factors like direct monetary benefits, I prefer opportunities to grow, be considered for a leadership position, being given autonomy of decision making and allowing the use of creativity and being allowed to take risks in order to learn and grow from the process because I focus on more career management aspect, especially for the future sustainability and the fact that the increase in competition requires one’s abilities to outmatch others for the same position.

Being aware of one’s motivational style makes it earlier for the leaders and supervisors to communicate their requirement since we know what we want, others perceive these values and therefore, carefully plan their execution to best match these expectations, in return, since it reduces the ambiguity between decision making and consideration of suitability, it becomes valuable for us to know our style.
