These trends are changing in the current political client. They are extending to dress, commenting through out the workplace and even posting on social media. Should your first amendment protection extend to you as an employee?
Part 3: Respond (150 words)
Part 1=
The first amendment provides the right to speech that is supported and provided by the constitution. The business has the fundamental right to promote and propagate its business interests by publicizing its products and services among the different types of customers. But there has been a debate on the issue of whether the business should also be provided protection under the first amendment. In my opinion, the business must be protected under the provision of the first amendment as each business should be allowed to communicate with its target market freely without any restriction. This will also enable the business to be treated as an independent individual that has all the right similar to the citizen of the country. The promotion of the products and services will provide better information to the customers and they can also be benefited from free communication. Both busies and customers are going to be benefited from the protection of business under the first amendment.
Part 2=
Employees are the integral parts of any organization, and as the bargaining power of the employee is relatively less than the employer, a number of restrictions are being imposed on the employes so that their conduct and behavior can be controlled by the organization. This can extend up to controlling the manner in which the employee can think and express his or her opinion. Most of the organization restrict their employees to not be vocal or share anything on their social media account that is against the policies or neutrality of the business organization, This somehow restricts the freedom of speech of these employees as they cannot express their own thinking and opinion They have to follow the guidelines of the employers. In my opinion, such types of restriction on the conduct and thinking and expression of the company employee is not according to the freedom of speech and the right provided in the First amendment Thus I support the view that the employees would also be protected as per first amendment
