1) CONSUMPTION OF CALCIUM RICH FOODS

A good balanced diet with various types of food items and an sufficient consumption of calcium is an important step for making and regulating powerful ,healthy bones.In case if there is no sufficient amount of calcium in the blood then the body will use the calcium from our bones.

2) CONSUMPTION OF VITAMIN D CONTAINING FOODS

Vitamin D helps in enhancing the bone density.The Vitamin D will also support our body to absorb calcium which is present in the foods that we eat.But anyway mostly we are obtaining the vitamin D from the sun and there are also directions for the quantity of risk free sun exposure for adequate vitamin D formation.

Some of the foods containing vitamin D are,Liver,fish and eggs.

3) REGULAR EXERCISE

The weight bearing exercises will help to enhance the bone density and also enhance the balance so the falls will be very less.

4) SOME ALTERATIONS IN THE LIFESTYLE

The main changes that must be followed include,'

Cease smoking- The smoking individuals will be only having very low bone density.

Thirty minutes daily exposure to sun to get sufficient amount of Vitamin D.

Reduce the alcohol consumption to a minimum amount.

Reduce the consumption of caffeinated drinks.
