gender inequality is an invisible issue. Why is it invisible? Are there any similarities of invisible gender inequality found within the United States?
Answer) Given statement is true as gender inequality is an invisible issue, that is it is present but it is not openly discussed or addressed or even if it is discussed,it is rarely acted upon, now coming to why it is an invisible issue, the reason is that most of the times people who have to address it will lose most if it becomes visible and is acted upon, second is the fear which is there in minds of people, anyone raising this issue may not find many takers and finally at times people do not want to acknowledge it as that would mean that something is wrong and that barrier of accepting that there is a problem is too difficult to cross.
For similarities,we have to look at various careers and invisible issue of gender inequality, from politics to sports to movie industry,we can see gender inequality but how many times it has been merely acknowledged and how many times some concrete action has been taken, thus there are similarities of invisible gender inequality across professions and one has to look at closely to see it is there.
