  • Steve jobs was born on 24th February, 1955. At a very early age, jobs had inculcate the interest for mechanics. He used to spent much time with his father in the garage, dismantling electronic devices. He had first worked as a technician at Atari in 1973.
  • In 1976, he gounded Apple computer company with Wozniack. In 1985, he resigned from his very own founded company due to the differences of opinion wigh that of company's CEO. Same year he founded NeXT.
  • In 1986, he acquired Graphics Group, lately named Pixar. 'Toy story' was the first animated film made after the acquirement.
  • In 1996, when Apple company acquired NeXT, jobs returned to his own founded company as an interim chief executive.
  • In1998, Apple introduced iMac to the world. In 2000, Steves Jobs became the permanent CEO of the company. In 2001, the company focussed on the music related products like, ipod, iTunes..etc.
  • His success is uncountable. Under his guidance the company has achieved the heights, at which it is standing today. He had achieved many awards and accomplishments.
  • In 2009, the fortune magazine announced him as the CEO of the decade. In the following year, he was ranked at no. 17 in the list of the world's most powerful people. In 2010, The Financial Times entitled him as the person of the year.
  • Steve Jobs died on October 5, 2011. The Governor of California had declared October 16 as the 'Steve Jobs Day '.
