Steve Jobs was a flighty pioneer. His organization conduct wasn't the standard of school reading material - he wasn't perceiving for his consultative or understanding structure program.
Yes, this is true that the flighty pioneer never believed in schools and colleges, that is the reason for him to drop out of the college in between. Because he knows that he has great thinking and he always believed in him and went with it and eventually generated great products out of the company.
He never cared about the education of his children either. This is mentioned in a book written by his daughter that his father never cared and forced her to study. He says that college education tells you how other people think and kills one's creativity.
He also believed that middle school is the awful place and he
keeps on saying that it would better if kids are made to be sailed
around the world. That is the reason why his conduct in the
organization is very unique and so are the results and he never
focused on the school or books material for handling people and
getting the work done.
Thus it was important for him to have creativity than to have
school reading material.
