Solutions

Expert Solution

Coming across another religion from the one of his or her own can be beneficial and thought-provoking in multiple ways and following are some of the ways which tell us why it is worthwhile:

1. Experience of another religion is always academically enriching and thought to provide because it makes a person delve into what is called as a transdisciplinary mode of inquiry that fosters and embeds deep intercultural literacy.

2. Experience and getting to know another religion makes a person understand the beliefs and rituals, value system and ethics with great depth and nuance which gives him/her the opportunity to appreciate the alternative perspective of the religious reality.

3. Experience with another religion makes a person understand an realise how all religions have beautiful and are driven by purpose. They get to relate their religion with one they are exposed to.

4. Religion experience can foster critical thinking, communication competence, religious interpersonal awareness, and interreligious literacy which makes a person successful in various aspects of life.
