According to your own experience and information you have read in other information, what causes some patients to be dificult?

In my experience the major cause of patients difficulties are;

  • stress of the illness, and there may be some stress at home
  • Attitude of the care giver or medical professionals some of them are treat the patient without considering him as human if caregiver is aggressive or face without smile may cause difficult to the patient
  • Expense or financial crisis occurred as part of hospitalizations
  • Unexplained activities or procedure done in the patient without consent or proper explanation is to be difficult to the patient
  • The thought of failure to thrive is the big cause of difficult in acute ill patients
  • Physician characteristics
    A doctor’s own attitudes and actions may play a major role in challenging patient encounters, including the following:

    Being angry;
    Being defensive;
    Feeling fatigued; and
    Feeling strained.

  • Some side effects of drug may cause difficult to the patient like gastric irritation, constipation, nausea, vomiting etc are expecially make anxiety and difficulties

  • Less freedom occurred by the hospitalisation cause difficult expecially for old age peoples

  • Unmet spiritual needs may cause difficulties it is also present majorly in old age peoples

  • Avoiding arguing etc makes more sense of difficult during illness
