PROJECT SCOPE STATEMENT

• Objective: To develop an application at a cost not exceeding $10000 for the company that will enable it to keep a tab on the transportation and drivers, and get real time information related to customers and other important activities.
• Deliverables: A holistic logistics application that facilitates the company in the following:

1. Vehicle and Driver tracking to monitor the on-road activity using GPS and other related technology.
2. A Specialized customer dashboard to facilitate easy customer registration, delivery related timely alerts and an efficient payment gateway.

• Milestones:

1. Planning a detailed analysis of all elements required in the app - 25th March
2. Development of a basic interactive model to eliminate the risks in the final model - 10th April
3. Designing the look and feel - 14th April
4. Coding - 20th April
5. Review, Testing and Amendments - 25th April

• Technical Requirements:

1. The application developed must have a simplified, easy to use user interface.
2. It must have a an in-chat feature that will expedite communicating information to and fro drivers, stakeholders, customers and others.
3. The app should be compatible for devices like tablets, mobiles and must also work equally well on android and apple products.

• Exclusions:

1. The development work will be limited to Monday through Saturday, 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.
2. The application will be developed according to the requirements and guidelines provided by the customer. Addition of extra features at a later stage would require the customer to increase his budget.
3. The budget doesn't include development of application for laptop.
