Que.1:Answer

The difference between a plug and receptacle is that plugs have prolonged connecting pins which fit into a mating socket called a receptacle. A receptacle connector is sometimes called a jack. A receptacle will have mounting features such as a flange with holes. Every electrical harness will have a variety of connector plugs and receptacles.

Que.2:Answer

Busway is defined as a prefabricated electrical distribution system consisting of bus bars in a protective enclosure, including straight lengths, fittings, devices, and accessories.

Commercial and industrial distribution systems use several methods to transport electrical energy. These methods may include heavy conductors run in trays or conduit. Once installed, cable and conduit assemblies are difficult to change. Power may also be distributed using bus bars in an enclosure. This is referred to as busway.

Que.3:Answer

Electrical motors are rated in horsepower or watt

Power is in general rated in watt (W) or horsepower (hp). The old imperial unit horsepower is equal to 746 watts (0.745 kW) or 33000 lb ft per minute (or 550 lb ft per second).

The unit of electric power - 1 watt - is equal to the power produced by an electrical current of 1 amp at a potential difference of 1 volt.

1 watt = 1 / 746 hp

1 hp = 746 watts = 0.76 kW
