Both organizational learning and unlearning concentrate on creating value for the organization and help the organization in creating a good knowledge repository. The methods followed by each of the learning methods will differ based on the needs of the business. In organizational learning, the organization will identify the gaps in their knowledge management process and identify the skill set required to keep the company updated with all the latest technologies, tools, processes, and methods to run the business. In organizational unlearning, the company will identify the skill set of the company that has become obsolete and are no longers useful for the company. These skill set will be unlearned from the company knowledge management process to keep the company updated with only the latest and required tools, technologies, processes, and methods. The ability to learn and unlearn quickly can be a strength for the company. If a company is struggling to learn and unlearn things then it can become their weakness keeping the business requirement in mind.
