The following issues are faced by the HR employees concerning implications of globalisation on the employees of US organisation

(a) Cultural assimilation - As a result of globalisation, the HR people of US companies need to manage the multicultural environment consisting of different value systems, races, languages, viewpoints and beliefs in the employees spread across the globe.

(b) Maintaining the uniformities of HR policies - HR department of global US companies need to take into consideration, the inputs and perspectives from all employees across the globe for judicious representation of all viewpoints in the policy that affects all employees.

(c) Protecting the interests of US employees - As a result of globalisation, the migration of skilled workforce from the developing countries to the US poses threat to the jobs of the local population who see more and more expatriates working for less and in compromising conditions. The HR faces the challenge to strike a balance between the cost effectiveness by hiring the global workforce but at the same time protecting the interests of locals.
