Fashion Industry has evolved through the whole Globalization process and also contributed to Globalization as well. This has all been an effect of the ever increasing popularity of social media across the globe. The transparency in the market has increased and so is the competition due to it.
The era of Globalization happened due to 3g and 4 g primarily, which meant a substantial increase in the use of social media both by consumers and the companies in the past decade, not just for the sake promotion of their product and services, but also for comparing all the products available in the market for decision making purposes. This meant customers learnt more about Global culture, fashion and trends and at the same time organizations learnt more about the buying patterns and behaviour of the consumers across the globe. This helped the Organizations target their audience in a better and more strategic approach. The E-Commerce industry took over the world and Global Fashion became accessible to consumers just by sitting on their computers or browsing through their phones across various websites and applications. This meant the Organizations had to be on their feet always, making the best use of technology as part of this evolved fashion industry to cope up with the competition.
In today's world, a Fashion Industry Organization is not just worried about the designs or quality of product, they are more worried about their IT, which is their face for the modern consumers . Learning about customers and at the same time about other competitors has become more important than ever to survive in the market. Same Fashion cannot be served to all sets of customers across the globe, thus organizations spend a lot in studying the behaviour of consumers in a new territory before actually starting operations. Strategies like these have resulted due to Globalization, and if not adopted by organizations, the competition will lead to their demise in the market.
