which of these illustrates the secondary structure of a protein?

Which of these illustrates the secondary structure of a protein?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Proteins are made up of amino acids. In the primary structure of proteins, amino acids are linked via peptide bonds, forming a peptide chain. In the secondary structure of the protein, hydrogen bonds are included within the peptide backbone comprising protein folding as alpha helices or beta plate sheets.

The second one from the top is the answer; it shows NO folding and is the most suited; the one you have clicked is folded.
