Dim Sum Halal Kitchen is one the famous restaurant which located in Kuala Lumpur just started the operations last year. This restaurant famous with nicely plated dim sums and have a huge variety of dim sum choices. Some of the top their favourites menu are family platter dim sum and wanton noodles. To ensure the best service, the restaurant uses Information System (IS) in handling data for their daily operations.
Although the usage of IS provides faster response and enables the waiters to provide the best services to the customers, the management noted that the restaurant is only actively using their IS in processing food orders. The management feels that the current IS functions can be expanded to track food items stock level so that there will never be "out-of-stock" problems and also to adopt online ordering to reach more customers via food delivery service.
