* 0.3g = 300mg

* Available dose = 120mg/15ml

* Formula to calculate dose= Desired dose ( prescribed dose) ÷ Available dose × strength( available dilution )

** Desired dose( prescribed dose) = 300mg

** A available dose = 120mg

** Available strength or dilution = 15ml

So 300 ÷ 120 × 15 = 37.5ml

* 300÷120=2.5

* 2.5×15=37.5

Another method for calculation is

15ml= 120mg

So 1ml= 120÷15=8

1ml of Elixophyllin = 8mg

So 300mg of Elixophyllin= 300÷8 =37.5 ml
