what does bipolar mean?
Answer = Mean of bipoler disorder in medical term= Bipoler mood disorder is characterized by recurrent episodes of mania and depression in the same patient at different times . Typically the patient experiences extreme highs ( mania or hypomania ) alternating with extreme lows ( depression ) interspersed between ages 20 and 30 symptoms sometimes appear in late childhood or early adolescece .
BIPOLER DISORDER = MANIC + DEPRESSIVE
Manic = Onset before age 30, Mood elevated , expansive irritable , Speech Loud rapid Punning ,
Weight loss , Grandiose, Delusions , Distracted , Hyperactive , Flight of ideas,
Depressive = Previous manic episodes , mood Dysphoric depressive despairing , Negative views , fatigue , appetite suicidal preoccupation.
so we can say bipoler mean having both manic and depressive episodes, or manic ones only.
or in other language we can say a having or relating to two poles or extremities.
