Bipolar 1 disoder ;

It's a psychiatric disorder related to mood .in this it defined as alteast one manic episode but also present one major deppression episode.here severe mania is present.

Clinical manifestations

Increased talkativeness

Increases self esteem and irritability

Racing thoughts and poor attention

Decreased need for sleep.

BIPOLAR 2 DISORDER ;

A person experienced major deppressive episode lasting for at least 2 weeks and less severe form of mania but they leading their day to day life successfully.

Clinical manifestations

Deppressed mood

Changes in sleep and eating pattern

Lack of energy

Restlessness

Feeling of guilty

Having a suicidal thoughts

Risk factor of BIPOLAR 2 is;

Eating disorders

Substance abuse

Treatment for BIPOLAR 1 disorder ;

Mood stabilizers are lithium and corporate

Antipsychotic drugs are haldol

Sedatives are clonazepam and lorazepam

Electroconvulsive therapy provided

TREATMENT FOR BIPOLAR 2 DISORDER;

Mood stabilizers are lithium and corporate

Antipsychotic drugs

Antiseizure drugs are carbamazepine

Antdeppressants are fluoxetine.
