How does a high or low Eosinophils level related to a patient with chronic kidney disease and atrial fibrillation?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Atrial fibrillation is related to improper blood flow or lack of blood flow to the heart due to clot formation and Chronic kidney disease on the other hand increases the risk of heart disease or stroke as kidneys are the ones responsible for blood filtration process which affects the blood circulation. There fore, patients affected by chronic kidney disease have a higher risk of developing atrial fibrillation.

So a high eosinophils levels in the blood report of the people with chronic kidney disease have a higher risk of developing atrial fibrillation. This elevated eosinophils is a indicator in the form of peripheral esosinophilia of the kidney damage and irreversible kidney related complication. The damage to the kidney results in improper blood filtration and results in eventual development of atrial fibrillation.
