Personal traits for mentor

A good mentor should be available to the students to offer answers and advice.

Friendliness: A good mentor have a healthy relationship with students.

Friendliness relaxes people and less nervous that help less concerned about making a mistakes.

Sense of humor: sense of humor can help with bonding with students. A sense of humor creates a non-threatening atmosphere where we can feel safe during both the easy and difficult times.

Patience: Remember the students all who always took a little longer to get it? mentor can understand that students learn at different speeds. That's why patience is so important. Successful mentors show patience with students to give the time for learning.

Interpersonal skills: mentor can always communicate and interact with students whether in writing, speech, or non-verbal communication (like shrugging your shoulders)

Mentor have to remember that get receptive feedback beneficial for the mentee

Approachability: A good mentor always give a time to students for cleaning doubts.

Professional development :- A good mentor active learner. Improve skills by attending webinars ,seminars and conferences.
