What is YOUR definition of success? Should your personal and professional goals be different? Or should the be complementary?
Success according to me is that you are able to live a healthy lifestyle with your family, friends. The most important thing in success is that you must have the joy and enjoyment in life. I work for 14-15 hours a day to stand myself financially such that I can afford minimum standard of life and some foreign trips. Success actually cannot be determined, it may be different for you and different for me. Success comes with never stop attitude rather than instant coffee attitude. The goals which you have and you are working for include some personal and professional goals. Personal goal include getting married, buying a new house/car, having children, family time etc. while professional goal include the raising the efficiency of your time, getting desirable results, reducing cost, hiring some employees etc. These goals should never be mixed but should be taken together. As you should not be much involved in your family such that you are not being able to make reports which needs to be sent to client anyhow and does not busy yourself in these reports such that your wife and children are waiting for you to have dinner at home. All things must go together but you have to be enough mentally strong to manage all things.
