What are some of the processes in your professional, personal or academic life that can be managed differently? How so? What would you expect this new approach’s outcomes to be?
Management refers to the art of being able to do the same tasks in a better and organized manner. This is reflective of a successful organization or individual alike.
Professional, personal and academic life are transactions that take place in every individuals life and are extremely important at micro and macro levels as they enhance the value that a person can provide to a country or to himself respectively.
Generally speaking I feel that discipline is a common process which can change all three sectors and thus enable people to function properly. It allows for things to occur at a better pace than normal and involves selection of properties which will give more benefits to people in the long run.
The outcome of adopting discipline in all three areas is as follows.
Professionally:-
Most people in the professional domain, fail because they do not keep up with the enthusiasm or motivation which they had while joining a company and fail to extend it over a period of time. Discipline in this sector allows for performance to be consistently delivered over a period of time than just merely in fractions. Thus allowing greater professional success as it changes the views of people and enhances their overall quality of life and increases overall productivity.
Personally:-
Personal decisions have a long time effect on others as well since they involve deciding on how an individual chooses to live. At any given period of time people need to take personal decisions the role of discipline in this sector is also valid and important to understand. Personally if one was supposed to take firm decisions on when to wake up what to eat, how much to eat and in quantities it would enable them to become better well-functioning and higher productive people in the long run.
Academic:-
Academic success is one of the key contributors towards getting a better pay and employment opportunity for people respectively. Academic success can help people in being where they deem best fit. Discipline indeed finds its roots here also, as lack of discipline is extremely harmful in academic life.
Discipline allows for goals to be broken down into easier segments of which achievability is possible. Avoiding last minute exam rush and allowing for transition to be relatively easier respectively.
