26.What does your body use to increase blood glucose levels if you haven't eaten recently and you are engaged in a lot of activity (e.g. playing sports)?
Muscle proteins |
||
Lipids stored in your fat cells |
||
Glycogen stored in your liver |
||
Insulin stored in your pancreas |
||
None of the above |

Blood pH |
||
Sugar levels |
||
All of the above |
28.

26.When we are engaged in lot of activity but haven't eaten recently , the body use muscle proteins to increase our blood glucose levels.
Because when we are playing sports, increase the rate of muscle contraction and relaxation then the primary source of glucose is gluconeogenesis from amino acids arising from muscle proteolysis.
27. Homeostasis regulation include all of the above. ( Temperature, blood pH, water and solutes, sugar levels)
Insulin and glucagon help to maintain homeostasis by increase or decrease the sugar levels in the body.
Chemical buffers of blood cells also maintain the homeostasis.
Osmoregulation keeps the solutes at the ideal concentration to maintain the homeostasis.
28. Organism that reply on behavior and the environment for regulating blood temperature are called- poikilotherms.
Some organism maintain their body temperature by some behavioral means such as basking or burrowing. They are called poikilotherms.
