What are the dimensions of development. Explain the different dimensions of development.
The different age levels of a child are called dimensions or stages of development.
In this way, psychologists have divided development into the following stages:
1) Pregnancy: The pace of physical development of the child at this stage.
2) Infancy: From the birth of a child to 15 days it is also called stage.In this stage, the child adjust to the new environment with the parents.
3) Childhood: In this stage all the emotions like happiness, anger, love, hatred etc. develop inside the child. This stage lasts from birth to two years. In this stage children or learner are found to have a curious tendency.
4) Vyanhsandhi: In this stage , physical maturity is developed and sexual organs develop. The stage between 11 to 13 years is called Vyanhsandhi stage.
5) Adolescence : In this stage children face problems of daily life.They are imaginative and they have difficulty in social adjustment.
6) Adulthood: 21to 40 years of age Age is called maturity. At this time a person tries to achieve the goals of his life.
