A transformational nurse lead should have the following skills like
1.Build a solid relationship with team members: Always try to know about employees working under the leadership. Be sincerely interested to know about them,try to find out their hobbies,about their families and their life style out of the office.when a leader devolops healthy relationship with the team members,the members will trust, respect and be loyal to the leaders.
2.Be transparent: Being open, honest and direct with team members is the best way to get their trust and respect. Create an environment for open communication with which the employees can freely express their concerns and opinions, share their valuable suggestions and even disagree with leader decision. The more comfortable environment you work,the more creativity and more innovative ideas will come from the employees.
3.Be compassionate and respectful: Treat others the way you want to be treated,just because of you are a leader it doesn't mean you can be disrespectful or arragant. Be empathetic, understanding and respectful to team members,so that they will be same for their co-workers.The leader should have confident to lead any employees irrespective of their age, qualifications.
