In your own words, do you think the media and movies perpetuate a realistic view of marriage or an unrealistic view? Do you think people truly know what marriage is all about before getting married or do you think they expect a fantasy?
Marriage is a legally recognized union of two people as partners in a personal relationship. The journey of a married couple is full of happy and sad moments. The way our movie indistry is portraying marriage is far away from the reality. In the movies, the marraige is all about exploring new places, having sex, enjoying good times, shows a virtual bond of connectivity, extreme truthfulness. But, reality lacks some of these fascinating things shown in the movies.
Yes, marriage is about going out together exploring new places, etc. but it does not comprise all of this. There are a lot of responsibiities that come along with the marriage, which our movies doesn't show. The family pressures, money issues, etc all are associated with marraige.
When people decide to get maried, most of them are unware about the repsonsibilities that come along with it. They just fantacize about a beautiful future. They never think what is the real meaning of a relationship. They feel that they will always stay strong and stay together but with the bundles of repsonsiblities, their fantacies gets broken down.
