The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) supports health services research initiatives that seek to improve the quality of healthcare, the main target of (AHRQ) is to provide better facilities regarding healthcare of the patients. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality mission is to produce evidence to make healthcare safer, higher quality, more accessible, equitable, and affordable.

AHRQ works to fulfil its mission by conducting and supporting health services research, both within AHRQ as well as in leading academic institutions, hospitals, physicians' offices, health care systems, and many other settings across the country. The main strategic plan of AHRQ is a consultation plan to ensure input by tribal officials in development of regulatory and other policies with substantial direct effects on one or more tribes and also plan goals and objectives for including children in research as a priority population.
