Women in earlier adulthood have different taks to acheive and issues to address than women in late adulthood. Women in this age group tend to be healthy. Unfortunately, during this period many women engage in health-risk behaviours such as physical inactivity,eating poorly,participating in un-protected sexual inter course and smoking. Some of these behaviours being established in adolescence and represent modifiable behaviour. If not addressed , these behaviours can contribute significantly to leading cause of mortality and morbidity. The majority of health concerns for these women are eating disorders,reproductive health and sexually transmitted diseases mental health and mood-disorders ,subsance abuse
