The title of the course is ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND EXPERT SYSTEMS I. All answers should be based on that. Please do not copy and paste answers on chegg or on google for me. All answers should be based on your understanding on the course. Please try as much to answer the questions based on what is asked and not setting your own questions and answering them. Let it be if you want to copy and paste answers.

9(A). AI is highly objective in decision making as it analyzes
based on purely
gathered data. However, human’s decision may be influenced by
subjective elements which are not based on figures alone. You are
hereby
requested to analyze (in ten points) the concept of ‘objectivity’
and
‘subjectivity’ in relation to data gathering in the statement
given; for
Human Teller and Automated Teller machines (ATM).
(b)AI often produces accurate results as it functions based on a
set of
programmed rules. As for human intelligence, there is usually a
room for
“human errors” as certain details may be missed at one point or the
other.
Justify in ten points how you can relate the statement to decision
making
algorithms.
(c) The human brain uses about 25watts while modern computers
only
generally use 2 watts in normal information processing. If this
normality
becomes the other way instead, give in five points what could be
the
reasons in each case of swap.
a.
SUBJECTIVITY
1.These are can not be observable, can not feel, touch, see the things and can not prove and it varies from person to person(Openion based)
2. From the subjective matters, ATM is a Machine which can distribute money with out going to bank and at any convenient time
3.ATM offers different types of banking Services
4. Getting Money from ATM is convenient and easy for certain people and Few customers feel not comfort with ATM due to their personal openoin of security or Technological failure expectations
5.ATM services are Part of banking system
6.Banking System encourages to use ATMs to minimise the customer's visit for certain services like Cash withdrawals, Cash Deposit,Ministatement, Balance Enquiry etc
7.ATM systems are commonly accept all bank cards
8 Banks impose charges on ATM services
9 Banking includes ATM services also a part of Banking System
10 ATMs minimise staff requirements in Banking sector
11 ATMs are useful to Save Customer Time by made available at allmost all prominent places at all times
12 ATMs also provided external Security
13 ATMs alos can use non banking purpose based on government decisions(Multi Functional)
14. Human Teller is avaible in bank during working times only and he has mannually check validation of Account holder using Passbook/ATM card etc with recorded information, then perform banking services.
15 Human Teller service is no chnace to failure of transaction
16 Human Teller uses token system, costomer has to wait for his turn.
17 Finally Human Teller and ATMs from Subjective perspective both are needful systems.
Objectivity-
1.Thses are observable, measurable qualitative and quantitative attributes of the the given system(ATM system operations)
2. ATM data is secure , confidential and specific to each consumer.
3.Each bank maintain its own ATM System
4.ATM systems allow portabilty of any bank cards can use at any ATM system
5.ATM system has Bank, Debit/Credit Card, PIN,Account, customer, statement etc activities during its operation
6.Customer visit ATM system first activity Card Validation where bank card is Valid or not by searching card number in card database(If card is not valid no ATM service Possible)
7 After Card validation, ATM check User Athuntication using valid Password mechanism (PIN,Iris, biometrics etc),iif PIN is wrong ATM asks to enter correct PIN again and Card will be blocked for certain duration if PIN failures exceeds more than 3 wrong attempts.(Few ATMs also lock cards in it)
8 Then ATM shows Transaction Menu to Choose
9. Sequence of Actions is varried to carryot each Transaction
10. If Cash withdrawal is Choosed, it needs to enter valid Amount then Checks the account balance,if the sufficient funds available cash will be dispense out with istructions to take immediately
11. If amount choosed is more than available , transaction failed shown one response code on receipt which shows insufficient funds
12. ATMs impose Charges on Insufficient fund transations
13 ATM Cards also can use at POS Machines to reduce cach Transactions on Purchase of Items
14. Now Online Shopping uses only didital transactions using bank cards
15.Unified Payment Gateways allowed banking transactions more reliable, comfort using e_wallets.
16. Human Teller service quality is varried from bank to bank.
17. Personal Work Tension of Human Teller may vary customer receiving aspect and any corrections allowed from authorised customers for transactions.
b.
Artificial Intelligence in machines are programmed to mimic or think like humans. They’re programmed by humans. As stated we humans often tend to make errors be it while adding two numbers or in a much complex situations. Many factors play a role in human decision making. AI comes into aid as it makes decisions by factoring everything fed into it in an easy way. Decision making algorithms are capable of making a decision based on the set of rules given by the programmer, this can be related in situations like:
1. AI is used to provide products based on the behavior of customers
2. AI recommends content to the users based on their activity, like Netflix recommends a user the shows based on their likes and activities
3. Search engines provide accurate result within a few seconds due to the decision making process behind and it’s impossible for humans to go through such large data, analyze and provide, whereas it’s made easier by AI.
4. It’s used in healthcare as well
5. Self-driven vehicles use these decision making algorithms while crossing a street or during an accident
6. Online shopping uses decision making too
7· Social media’s bullying can be tracked with AI
8. Useful in finance as well
9. There might be a bias towards gender, religion, etc but all of that depends on the programmer who develops it.
10. Proper equality and ethical principles are to be followed in order to avoid human like errors in AI.
c.
The human and computer brain can’t be compared as both have their own benefits. In this scenerio computer uses 2 watts which is lesser than a human brain. If this normality is reversed and if the computer takes more time to process the information then it could be due to:
1. The software degradation or it becomes slower hence the efficiency would be reduced.
2. If the case of swap includes everything done in just 20 watts with computer brain then it could be very powerful, as a machine tends to learn quicker
3. If stronger inventions take place then the energy required would be higher as currently we’re in the weak AI
4. If humans can’t process information due to underlying effects, then the roles would be reversed as it can’t be fed at 20 watts
5. We only use 2% of our brain whereas computers use everything that’s been fed into it, the roles may be reversed
