Organization officials have a legal and moral responsibility to ensure that the workplace is free from unnecessary hazards. Employers hold responsibility for understanding what is necessary to keep workers safe from harm. Conditions surrounding the workplace must be secure for employee’s physical and mental health. As many organizations have implemented wellness program, that focus on smoking cessation, weight control, stress management, early diagnosis of health problems, prevention and education about life-style related and contagious illness. Wellness program can cut Employers health cost and lower absenteeism by preventing health related problems.

Describe the role of HR in offering Healthy and safe work environment to the workers. Also write the ways that Occupational Safety and Health Administration OSHA assist employers in creating a safer workplace.
HR supports all staff, whether industrial or office personnel, with safety and healthy work conditions. The HR department will educate and notify all new hires, and will upgrade training for all workers over the years of jobs. HR is qualified in OSHA rules and health and safety regulations, and HR is also mindful of corporate litigation liabilities or respectable harm if workers are hurt or sexually insulted in the work environment. In turn, the workers are instructed in the production industry on how to treat machinery properly and what to do if an incident happens at the premises. Occupational health is significantly different for the office staff. The office work can ride on someone's bag and slip, and thereby sprung the ankle, which is another form of accident on the job.
Discuss the purpose and significance of Wellness Programs/Disease Management in the Organization. Support your answer with the example of two companies that provide these programs to their workers.
Wellness Services / Disease Prevention systems are of considerable significance at work. Wellness services can include physical exercises to help you feel healthier both emotionally and physically (e.g. pilates lessons, gym membership). Wellness services can provide trained mental health experts to assist address issues about mental health that you may have, for example, job stress or family stress. First but not least, illness control is a successful method for being cautious or treating a condition.For examples, if you provide workers with less sugar treats than this would assist with lower sugar rates and potentially less diabetic workers. In addition, most large and medium-sized companies offer the above management services like Amazon, Accenture etc. Wellness services thus keep workers happier and safe and reducing the employer's health-related costs.
If you’re HR Manager, how can you support your employees during the Public Health Emergency/Outbreak? Present your HR planning to run the organization effectively along with employees’ safety.
As an HR admin, I'd make sure our policy on public health / emergency emergencies were up-to-date and checked by the law department. I will also convey public health / emergency epidemic policies to all levels of staff via workshops, instruction, electronic read-only information. Most notably, I would discuss our emergency preparations with managers and then the managers would address and prepare the staff to be ready in case of an emergency. An incident could be a fire, flood or an upset employee attacking other workers at work. Also, as an HR Manager during an incident, I will send out email or text alerts during the public health / incident epidemic and ensure that all workers are up-to-date and be mindful of when the emergency is over and ready to return to work.
