Preferred communication channel refers to the most convenient channel used by a company to communicate with the customers. As customers are the backbone of an enterprse hence the most convenient channel for communication is chat. To improve the scalability of chat companies are putting chatbots in place to improve the communiction channel. The decision to add a communiction channel depends on expansion strategy of the company.
Social media is the most important communication channel used by the companies for effective communication. Examples include email, phone, or social media channels such as Facebook, WhatsApp, or even chatbots. The trick is which ones to use and how to integrate them into what you do. Needless to say, without some form of communication channel you don’t really have a business. Whether it’s just a cell phone number of a door to door approach, there has to be interaction. The level of interaction, the breadth of interaction and the richness of that interaction all play a part in how important it is for your business.
