It is rightly said that communication is the blood for every business. Communication is required at every step, including leadership too. Without the use of communication, one cannot influence anybody to work in the desired manner which is the work of a leader regardless of what style he is adopting. Communication along with its different channels a very important for every leadership style because it is necessary for leading or influencing the behavior. In autocratic leadership, there is a need for formal communication between employees and the leader. In democratic and freestyle leadership, there is a need for both formal and informal channels, in order to effectively perform the work. Thus, communication, along with its channels, is crucial for every leadership style.
