A truly great leader will be able to get the most out of the people that follow him. A great leader will be able to to inspire the people around him or who is working under him. They encourage the people not only to perform best but also to reach their goals and always push them towards success. A leader will be a role model to everybody working under him. generally the leadership skills are shown at the workplace if the leadership qualities are absent which will result in employees underperforming and failing to reach their potential for both of them.

  1. I am working as Head of the department in an engineering college there are 26 faculty working under my supervision .Mostly I encourage my faculty to be sincere and hard working and disciplined well. My colleagues take me as a role model because I always follow these qualities. generally the colleagues will follow the leader. If the leader is not exhibiting the leadership qualities the colleagues working under that person will not be able to follow him, If the faculty is not able to do the work. I always support and will be motivating in all the work they do.
  2. Dominating characters will not be suitable to a leader. A leader should be always submissive and supportive to the employers working under him. I will not show the dominating character to my employers. They will receive me as a friend, supporter and motivator in the current period also dominating character will not suit a leader.
  3. There are many leadership qualities that a leader should follow. A leader should have good listening skills and be attentive to what the other person is speaking because a good response can be given only if a leader listens very attentively so a leader should improve good listening skills . A leader should have clear goals and vision. If he tries to explain the clear goals then the team will follow accordingly. a leader should be able to communicate very clearly the work they should do. Very important for a leader to have integrity, treating everybody equally, no partiality should be exhibited . If the team is not working properly the leader should take the responsibility and see that the task is completed with his support and help. a leader should always have positive thinking towards the team working under him . the leader should be able to give and take respect because taking respect cannot be expected until it is given. the leader should be able to involve everyone in the task. He should have good decision making skills in order to make the team work effectively.

learning how to become a better leader in the workplace is critical to the overall success and effectiveness that that team as a whole products.
