This has given rise to the modern pharmacy to obtain a stable, elegant, safe and therapeutic active drug product, drug substances are formulated into appropriate dosage forms; each designed to contain a given quantity of active substance with accurate potency and according to the disease in different doses.1. There are many numbers of drugs and their uses and dosages are fixed as per requirement and nature of the disease.
There is nothing to dislike about the topic it relates to human life. And with the progress of science, it has become possible to separate active molecules and use them in a manner that it gives a good result with fewer side effects. These substances are first researched on mice or other animals, after many numbers of trials it comes in market for use.
The materials in pharmaceutical dosage are the biodegradable and biocompatible materials that have enabled the advancement of pharmaceuticals by providing better therapy. It helps in management for patients through controlled release drug delivery. It is available for many routes of administration and offers many advantages over immediate release delivery particularly as microparticles and nanoparticles
It is of critical importance to investigate both biodegradability and biocompatibility, for example, NIPAAM that is Poly (N-isopropyl acrylamide) used to formulate thermo-responsive hydrogels is not biodegradable by hydrolysis.
