1) What is the most surprising thing about money you have learned from reading chapters in Economics.
2) What do you think about free trade agreements Canada has entered into? Recently, Canada signed a new agreement with several European countries- comments, opinions, thoughts?
2) Canada has entered into a free trade agreement with the EU which is famously known as the Comprehensive Economic And Trade Agreement (CETA). Canada has entered into free trade agreement with EU as it will benefit it many ways. Not only to Canada but it will benefit also to EU. The main purpose of any free trade agreement is to ensure smooth functioning of trade without any much or nil interference by the government. CETA will benefit Canada by making huge exports to EU which will benefit Canada by exporting and EU will be benefited by importing good quality products from Canada with no hindrance of taxes. CETA opens gates for investing in either of the countries from investment and business point of view. This again will benefit both the countries to establish new manufacturing companies and establish new business, which will boost up the economy's GDP. With this mobility of labor too will enhance thus creating more employment and job opportunities. Also, Intellectual Property Rights will be looked upon. Trading in goods and services will enhance. So, in my opinion it's a good move made by both the countries in order to develop good trade relations between both the countries.
