Reflect upon your experiences throughout the course. What was the most surprising thing you learned about project management and why? What was the most challenging concept studied? What are you most likely to use as a current or future project manager?
What was the most surprising thing you learned about project management and why?
The most surprising thing learned by me during my course of project management was that a project manager works best into the bottom up costing approach. It gets extremely difficult despite taking a cushion to complete the activities on time. The coordination in the project team is extremely tough. The thing that surprised me the most that all the key components to whom the project may influence must be a part of the project management team.
What was the most challenging concept studied?
The most challenging concept studied was that of making the project sustainable. I studied that if the project is not sustainable its value will erode in less time making it less impactful for the business.
What are you most likely to use as a current or future project manager?
The most likely approach to be used as a future project manager would be high-risk anticipation and making the project sustainable for long term. I would also like to focus on the significance of costing in details so that the project cost does not deviate from the predicted cost of the project.
