a)Taxonomies of Knowledge

Taxonomy is nothing but a classification system.Generally,the goal of taxonomy is to group things according to similarities in some respect such as similarities as structure,role,behaviour,etc.(example of taxonomy -- living beings ->animals -> reptiles -> snake)

Similarly,taxonomy of knowledge allows to represent the organizational knowledge graphically.In general,taxonomy is a structured set of names and descriptions used to organize information and documents in a consistent way.It helps to retrive the information,share the knowledge,information and data across an organization by building the taxonomy aroud workflows and knowledge needs in a structure.

b)Knowledge Management Systems

Knowledge Management has become an important stream,especially in IT industry.Knowledge Management system is to manage the knowledge about various aspects of an organization such as value assets,policys,strategies and so on.It is mainly needed for taking any kind of decisions in organization which helps in creating value assets and strategies for business development.

According to research,there are various sub classes in Knowledge Mangement Systems as follows:

• Project Management - Project management is the way a project is to be delivered by going through a process which includes various steps like requirements gathering,meeting with clients,developing a prototype,building the end product and delivery of the project.
• Strategy Management - There will be various strategies developed by the business people by looking at the knowledge taxonomies.
• Management of Technology - Technology is the great thing that helps mankind to achieve their goals with accuracy,effieciency and high speed.The technology management is done in order to decide which technology or which tool must be used to specific purpose inside an organization
• Management of Information - The information regarding various aspects in an organization,such as success rate,reasons for success or failures,statistics about the profit and loss.All these kind of data must be managed in order to take any decision.
• Human Resource Management - Human Resource management is nothing but managing people.It is to assign specific work to each person with deadlines so that the entire process works out smoothly.

c)Knowledge Creation and related research issues

An example of knowledge creation process is asking innovators to discuss their ideas among the community.The community members discuss the ideas,brainstorm about ways to apply the concepts and ideas and suggest the good ideas.

According to SECI Model,the knowledge creation mainly consists of the following:

• Socialization,where individual shares his ideas with people,directly
• Externalization - creating concepts and icons through dialog and reflection
• Internalization-embodying explicit knowledge through action,practice,understanding and learning
• Combination - Analyzing and applying explicit knowledge and information
