When Coach Boone first visits the team tell them this is a monarchy and not a democracy. When the Gerry and Ray inform Coach Boone how the team would be if he allows them to participate, he then reveals how this squad is his. Coach Boone takes care by letting Gerry realize he's his daddy and his daddy's squad is his band. Coach Boone places Gerry and Ray in their position openly too. In this case, Coach Boone used the right leadership style, as he had to get the confidence of the team members. That was the first time a coach ever had to contend with a two-race squad. He proved that he was in charge and if nobody on the team enjoyed it then they should quit the team.

Coach Boone uses Coaching Leadership to remind them that in Gettysburg all races battle for the same war we are all battling between ourselves as he brings the boys out for a run as they stop to rest. He advises the team that they have to come together otherwise else the team is going to fall apart and that is not about loving each other but about respecting each other and maybe they should play the game as adults. Coach Boone created this scenario, and made very good use of this leadership style. He has been talking to the entire time and speaking about what can happen if they don't begin to accept each other.
3. Cite an example from the movie when Coach Boone used a Supporting leadership style. What specifically did he do (behavior) that indicated he was being Supportive? Describe the situation, and assess follower Readiness (follower Ability and Willingness). Did Coach Boone utilize an appropriate leadership style in this situation, and why or why not?
Coach Boone has a leadership that helps when one of the players tells him that he's not being cut out for college. Coach Boone speaks to him and informs him that he will support him in his studies and make sure he gets his grades up. Later in the movie the same player lets Coach Boone know the he passed through and after all, he'll attend college thanks to his help. Coach Boone makes a effective use of this correct leadership style in this case. This is one of the few times Coach Boone has one on one with the players that we see. He has proven he cares for the team leaders even beyond the games.
4. Cite an example from the movie when Coach Boone used a Delegating leadership style. What specifically did he do (behavior) that indicated he was being Delegative? Describe the situation, and assess follower Readiness (follower Ability and Willingness). Did Coach Boone utilize an appropriate leadership style in this situation, and why or why not?
Coach Boone used Delegating leadership as he gave a new play to sunshine and gave him much of the responsibility to help out the squad. He depended on the skill of sunshine to run the team and help them win the game. Coach Boone also displayed Delegating Leadership with Manage Yoast by entrusting him with defensive responsibility and believing in his abilities to manage the well. I believe that in this case Coach Boone used the right leadership style as it shows he respected coaching and player in winning the game.
5. How will your understanding of Situational Leadership enable you to be a better manager?
I think that in modern years the role of management and executives has changed a lot because the way business is conducted has changed a lot and now, companies can't afford to make mistakes that can rob them of their status and drive them out in the market. Managers and members must also be agile when making certain actions and support the company in difficult circumstances for success. Situation leadership is the strategy in which the leader should behave on the basis of what is expected of him and that should be suitable for recognizing the steps they need to take.
An company can encounter a difficult moment or process of its activities and the leader has to take the required actions so that is only feasible if the leader is open-minded so responsive about those things, else they will not be able to use their problem-solving skills to get their job completed. This strategy will allow the manager to grow and evolve as an person, which will make them progress.
