The most interesting concept I need to learn more about is Fallacies the formal and informal
Fallacies can be defined as incorrect beliefs and opinions that are dependent on the inaccurate statements or arguments. These are mainly the result of the reasoning which is not accurate in terms of logic and therefore results in the degraded validity of any reason or argument. there are some fallacies that are made so that some sort of deception can be generated. On the other hand, some fallacies are produced due to unintentional motives.
These can be divided into two main categories which are formal fallacies and informal fallacies.
A formal fallacy can be defined as a mistake in the setup of the deductive argument that causes the invalidity of the argument. These mistakes or shortcomings can be explained with the help of a standard system of logic. These types of arguments will never be considered to be correct. No indication will be provided about the premise of the argument or the conclusion due to the presence of the formal fallacy. It may be possible that both are correct but it will not have any impact on the invalidity of the argument as the conclusion is not deduced from the premise as it was explained.
On the other hand, in the case of informal fallacy is resulted in a reasoning mistake except for the logical flaw of the argument. There may be the chance of having a formal validity of the deductive argument that includes the informal fallacy but the chances of it being rationally unpersuasive will always be there. Ultimately in case of deductive and non-deductive arguments., the existence of informal fallacy will be there.
