Examine the extent in which culture in this organisation, Singapore Airlines (SIA) impacts
(i) employee engagement and (ii) diversity and inclusion strategies.

(iii) Discuss how the organisation uses socialisation process/tactics to socialise new employees and help them through the adjustment process.

(iv) Using the Competing Values Framework, firstly, identify the characteristics

(i.e, clan adhocracy, hierarchy, or market) and determine the organisation’s dominant culture. Secondly, provide evidence to justify your determination of its dominant culture.

people Give respect from lower level to higher levels ,respecting seniors & elders inheret from Confucianism which is in Chinese & Asian culture. In such hierarchial work place the jouniors do not argue or question with seniors.

Colectivism prevails over individualism : people always work in groups & asense of affiliation is quite important than apersons individual status,Here people share their rewards instead of striving for individual reconition..

This has all been achived by through service excellence & innovation where the engaged employees are taught with various methods.Here organizational culture plays an important role in Singapore Airlines, .profit -consciouness - in grained inall the employees, developing staff holistically.

Developing & creating environment -------> strategy ------> core competence< --------> organisation ( total innovation & holistic staff development.

POINT 3) Creating & maintaining organizational culture: The organisation' s culture is shaped as it faces the internal & external challanges & from this it learns & adapts the environmental challenges, which ensures the values & success , these values are taught to the new member employees.
