List three prevention strategies for dealing with obesity. Choose the one you feel is the most effective strategy and explain why.
There are a few prevention strategies for dealing with obesity. Those are important enough to control or prevent individual's problem of obesity.
Three of them are:-
Among those three, I think the most effective strategy is increasing daily physical activity.
Explanation:- Beside all other usefulness like lower the risk of any kind of heart disease, diabetes, stroke,high BP , osteoporosis, physical activity has a great role to prevent the obesity. Actually daily ( moderate- intensity) physical activity increases people's expenditure of energy, which helps them to stay in energy balance or even in weight losing, as long as those people don't eat more to compensate for the extra calories they burn. Apart from this, daily physical activity helps to decrease fat around the waist as well as total body fat & slowing the development of abdominal obesity. So one healthy adult should do atleast 2:30 hours /week of aerobic physical activity at a moderate level & atleast 1:15hr /week of aerobic physical activity at the vigorous level to get good health benefits & prevent obesity.Beside this maintaining a healthy diet chart with reduced calories & practicing healthier eating habits are necessary for the prevention of obesity.
