Kline, Covey, and Krisco have essentially mentioned the fact that listening helps in extensive and ignite the decision making process. Its true that a leader should extensively possess this quality of being able to take the most strategic and best decisions using the most cognitive abilities and competencies. But on the other hand, a leader should also have still skill of effective listening. He should be a good communicator not only to present the ideas and make people learn to adapt to changes and decisions but also to be able to listen what people are saying. Effective listening helps in:
1. Getting new and most strategic ideas to work.
2. Evaluating those bundle of ideas to choose the most appropriate choice among all.
3. Making people feel confidence and self esteem among themselves as their ideas and decisions are being heard, thus motivating them to be an effective leader for the future.
