MUST BE 250 WORDS PLEASE THANK YOU
There are two subcultures which Texas identified with are-
1. Individualistic- it relies on the market place. Role of government is limited only to keep the market place functioning. In this subculture corruption is tolerated, bureaucracy is viewed negatively; politicians only want to fulfill their self-interest and elections only held to gain power.
2. Traditionalistic- in this subculture government maintain the existing social and economic hierarchy, politicians came from elite class of the society, ordinary citizens do not participate and vote in elections, and politics is a competition between rivals within the elite class.
Reasons for Texas is categorized in that manner-
1. Because Texans view political participation as an economic perk.
2. Business plays an important role in defining the political subculture in Texas
3. Elite class keep their self-interest above their citizens
No, according to my point of view this categorization is not accurate. If the political parties only think about their own interest then how they will develop a country in better way and the difference between rich and poor will increase day by day. Every citizen of the country is very important for the growth and development of the country but Texas only thought about elite class or rich people. Country’s politic system should be democratic. Most of the countries are democratic they gave power to citizens to choose their political officers. If country not changes according to the current situation then it will definitely not able to survive in long run. Reasons are-
1. It not allows low-income citizens to vote which is not ethically or morally correct
2. Corruptions is only increasing because specific class has all the powers.
