B. Discuss, “in details,” the social, political and/economic reasons why, in the twenty first century, parasitic infections continue to be major burden to most of the world’s population.
B. The economic reasons which contributes to the burden of the parasitic infections:
Social status relies on eating at fancy restaurants, usage of frozen meat products which often lead to parasitic infections. They also include the impact of urbanization on sanitation and water supply. The behaviour of health workers in carrying out their daily routined works.The rural urban migration has resulted in the inadequacy of the sanitation resulting in increased incidents of infections.
Political reasons as in depends on the sole intention of the political party in power so as to make necessary health investments for prevention of parasitic infections. They are always profit oriented and the results so far has not been much appreciable.
