Stage IV liver cancer- In this stage ,the cancer spreads to lymph nodes and also to blood vessels or organs.

It can be spread to lungs and bones.

Basically for these stages , treatment does not result in curing.This stage is advanced stage where symptoms are relieved .

Palliative care is a service or care given to patients to get relief from the symptoms either by medicines or therapies . In this , palliative care service is given to Mr.Brandon for anaemia related symptoms.

Discharge care plan-

(A) Visit hospital or call in case of situations such as difficulty in waking, blood in vomitting, shortness of breath ,chest pain,drowsiness.

(B)Contact ur doctor or directly visit hospital in case of loss of appetite, abdominal pain and swelling, dark urine, jaundice, weakness or fatigue.

(C) Medicines- Medicines should be taken as directed .Medicines are given to decrease the symptoms. Always carry your list of medicines in case of emergency.

(D) Test recommended- Return to hospital for the test as directed such as blood tests,chest x- Ray.

(E) Follow instructions given below:

Do not smoke,eat small small meals ,don't drink too much of liquid as it result in swelling,plenty of rest or less stress .
