Explain coaching, job rotation, special assignment and peer training and give example those trainings. 250 words then I give thumbs up
Coaching, job rotation, special assignment and peer training are methods used for training employees.
Coaching — Coaching involves an experienced person to teach and train an employee. This person is referred to as a coach. He may be an external expert or an experienced senior employee in the same organisation. Eg. A personality development coach is hired to conduct sessions for the customer service department to improve the quality of service.
Job Rotation — In this type of training, an employee is assigned different set of jobs in the same level without any increase in pay level. This enable the employee to develop their skillset in all sectors. Eg. An employee is shifted between the marketing and sales department every three weeks.
Special Assignment — This is when an employee is assigned special tasks on a temporary or on a full time basis. This is usually carried out in the low level executives to improve their hands on knowledge in actual challenges in the organisation. Eg. A sectoral manager is assigned to study and come up with a solution to the challenge of how to adapt with the fast advancing technology.
Peer Training — This type of training is done between colleagues working in the same department. One advantage of this training is better relationships between colleagues. Eg. A newly hired employee seeks the help of fellow colleagues in the same same department to get familiar with the operating procedures of the organisation.
