explain the difference between Job involvement, Job enlargement, and Job rotation?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Job involvement is the extent to which a person is psychologically participating in the work. A person who is physically as well as psychologically participating in the work will perform better than the others who are not psychologically participating in the work. So, it increases the efficiency and effectiveness of the person at the workplace.

Job enlargement refers to participating in a wide range of activities extending the job duties and responsibilities. Job enlargement combines many other activities to the existing job at the same level.

Job rotation refers to the strategy where the employees rotate between jobs within the business. Employees usually take a different job or take on new tasks before rotating back to their original position. This helps in increasing the skills and experience of employees by taking on new duties and responsibilities.

So, all the terms are related to the job but are completely different from each other.
