Workflow management is an activity where proper co-ordination of
tasks is necessary to sum up the complete work a success in a way
an organization aims at. Workflow is nothing but a sequence of task
which is a sub part of portion of a complete picture (i.e. task).
It is mandatory to know the workflow is different for every
organization, with mentioning this I would like to add one more
valuable statement that the ways or attempt also may vary. The
attempt to motivate team people into a workflows actually different
and depends upon the workflow which may vary from organization to
organization.
- Make your place of work employee friendly – a
pleasant workspace is always welcomed as no one wants to be in a
boring space, since everyone in the team has a common objective to
fight there should not be a place of any nonsense which could kill
the seed of productivity.
- To have a supporting and honest management is always
encouraging – management should be responsible and
supporting, they should be well aware of their roles and
responsibilities towards the team. An understanding approach is all
it takes to boost the team’s moral.
- Rewards offering – pay them well as they have
invested time, let them have a feeling of security and as sense
that someone is carefully watching their activities. This behaviour
of rewarding employees keep other attracted to their work.
- Quick discussion/meetings on changing work scenarios
and plan accordingly – I will be using a real time source
to explain this section, meetings are very effective in a workflow
where things could change drastically with no symptoms. In a
workflow everyone should be on same grounds. Once a new product was
launched by the company which was an extension to its earlier
product but several enhancements were done. Since there was several
new functionality added, it needs to be dealt differently. The team
management held several initial meetings after reading the business
workflow and several other documents. Under this a new findings
came that a portion of its customer invoice has similar way to work
in order to clear the customer cases and a new way to deal the
pricing features if a customer purchase the bundle subscription.
Once this was mentioned the approach to clear the scenario was to
add bundle details with specific identifiers. Also this led the
management to specifically call the top performers in the meeting
just to add their value to their contribution.
